Quintana Quarter Horses has been family owned and operated for over 30 years

Diana Quintana has 30 years of experience as a trainer and riding instructor ranging from Western All-Around to English and Working Cowhorse.

Greg and Diana Quintana have been married for 30 years. Together they have two boys, Royce and Tyler Quintana.

Diana has been a member of:
RMQHA for 22 years
AQHA for 25 years

When the kids were young Diana competed in Trail as well as other events. She competed at her first World Show in 1999 on a horse she trained, Ima Tuff Player in the Jr. Trail

Diana grew up around horses and started training in 1985. She works with youth and beginner riders giving them experiences that she hopes they'll remember for  the rest of their lives.

Diana also actively participates in the 4-H Horse program where she has been a leader for 20 years. Through those years she was leader of the year in 2008. In 2012 she recieved an honorary buckle for the Leadership Hall of Fame

Her philosphy is that every expert was a beginner at one point and she plans to instruct students to where they can become the teacher as well as helping them understand situational awareness.

Greg also showed in reining and working cowhorse until the "boys" came of age to start showing. We provided them our horses to show at the time so we could watch them grow up and succeed to the best of their ability. Since the boys moved away and went to college we are starting to show again, but now Diana is also competing in the ranch riding as well as cowhorse and reining classes.

Diana has been the best teacher, show mom, and trainer. She has enjoyed seeing so many of her students find success through the years. She considers all of them great friends and above all she considers all of her kids as family. The many miles traveled allows you to get to know tham as well as the opportunity to see them grow into something.

Glad they have accomplished all of their dreams and goals
I've enjoyed being their trainer and show Mom

THE
7Q RANCH
The Quintana's also have a family run ranch out of New Mexico. There have been many generations to go to the Ranch and work. It's an amazing place for bonding as well as family time. Family friends are also invited out, but at that point you're considered more family than you are friend.

It is tradition to go out to the Ranch and has helped them become the great horsemen/women they are today. At a young age the kids would go out and ride pasture for days at a time, but the kids and us would never trade it for the world since every trip comes with a great memory. Anyone who has come to the Ranch has a story to tell when they come back and they always want to come back because they enjoyed the time there.
